Last week, the Labor Government announced $13.13M to help us get permanent dialysis units into 6 new communities. These communities are:

Western Australia

  • Wirramanu (Balgo)
Northern Territory
  • Atitjere (Harts Range)
  • Borroloola
  • Ti-Tree
South Australia
  • Coober Pedy
  • Yalata

This is the first round of up to 30 dialysis units for First Nations patients which will be rolled out by the Labor Government over the next four years.

“For two decades we have seen that being back on country with family delivers powerful outcomes across the board, and that giving people hope is transformational.” Sarah Brown, Purple House CEO.

We’re beyond excited to help more communities and get more patients home on Country with family. Huge thanks to everyone who has supported the Balgo and Coober Pedy projects to keep them viable and advocated for all these communities.
