Kaltukatjara or Docker River is located 670km south west of Alice Springs via Uluru on the Outback Way. It is in the south western corner of the Northern Territory, 7km east of the WA border on the Petermann Ranges. The Pitjantjatjara community is home to about 300 people and has a School, Church, Police Station, Health Clinic, Residential Aged Care Unit and a Community Store. 

The Docker River Dialysis unit opened in 2017, bringing dialysis to the community for the first time.
