Panuku is a Walpiri word meaning ‘a place for everyone’. Located in the Rapid Creek Business Village in Millner, Darwin, Panuku is the headquarters for our Top End services and a home away from home for clients from remote desert communities of Lajamanu and Kalkarindji and saltwater communities of Galiwin’ku (Elcho Island) and Nhulunbuy.

People can come to Panuku to use the phone, have a cup of tea, get help and support or talk about getting back to their home community on dialysis. To help people stay well we also have care coordination services funded by NTML which support patients to access primary health care and allied health services.
Panuku also employs a team of Patient Preceptors, people who have lived experience of the renal disease journey and can provide expert advice and reassurance to Indigenous renal patients.
