Donate Goods
Keeping Patients Warm!
Dialysis patients often feel the cold year-round – even in hot desert climates! That’s why donations of warm, practical goods are so important. By donating items like minky blankets, beanies, loose-ankle socks, large jumpers, jackets, and shoes, you help keep Indigenous renal patients warm, comfortable, and cared for during dialysis. Your donated goods make a real, immediate difference.
Donate to Purple House today and support comfort, dignity, and better health for Indigneous communities.

Essential Items Needed

Dialysis treatment involves circulating a patient’s blood through a machine, cooling it to the temperature of the machine’s fluid. This causes the patient’s body temperature to drop when the blood is returned. Many dialysis patients also suffer from anemia, which reduces their red blood cells and affects their ability to warm up. As a result, even during the hot desert summers, our patients can feel cold, and the winter months are particularly challenging.
In addition, many patients need practical items to carry their medications and care packages, so shoulder bags are always in high demand.
Clothing donations make a significant impact, helping our patients stay warm, comfortable, and supported as they undergo dialysis treatment.
