Shop Bush Balm
Bush Balms are handcrafted by our team of young Indigenous women using wild-harvested plants from Central Australia. Through our retail trade, we provide free bush medicine to our patients year-round while preserving and passing down deep cultural knowledge.
Our Story
Bush Balms were first cooked by and for our Indigenous dialysis patients in the backyard of Purple House using a billycan over the fire. More than a decade later, we still make it in the same way except using a herb grinder instead of a grinding stone and cooking it over a stove in our purpose built Bush Balm Shop instead of a campfire in the backyard.
