Tom Price is a mining town located 1600km north of Perth and 400km south of Port Headland in Western Australia’s Pilbara Region. Sitting on the edge of the Hamersley Ranges it is the highest town in Western Australia at 747m above sea level. Tom Price has a population of over 3,000 and is home to the Muntulgura Guruma People on Karijini Country.
The town has a major supermarket, clinic, hospital, service stations, library, primary and secondary schools, TAFE, golf course, swimming pool, and a range of sporting facilities and accommodation options. It is known as a gateway for the Karijini National Park.
