Utopia is the name given to 16 remote homelands spread across an area of about 2,000 square km located 250km north east of Alice Springs on the Sandover Highway. Utopia Homelands are home to about 500 people most of which are Anmatyerre or Alyawarra speaking people. 

On 6th November 2019, Purple House opened a four chair dialysis unit next to the Urapuntja Health Clinic. Arlparra is located 25km south of Urapuntja and has a Church, School, Store, Art Centre and Police Station.
