Warumpi or Papunya is located 240km west of Alice Springs on the Kintore Road. The Pintupi Luritja community is home to about 400 people and has a School, Police Station, Church and Health Centre. Papunya is known as the birthplace of the Western Desert painting movement and many Purple House patients are artists of the renowned Papunya Tjupi Arts.
Purple House has operated four dialysis chairs in Papunya since 2017.
